The Varsity Won A Third Straight West Catholic Title
The West Catholic tournament has been running for as long as Jenison has had a wrestling program. Coach Greg Paiz
noted that three generations of his family have wrestled in this tournament...in that his dad, he and his son Josh have all
competed at this tournament. Jenison has been going to the West Catholic tournament for as long as any one can
remember but had never won a team title until three seasons ago. Jenison has won the West Catholic tournament the
last three consecutive seasons. Coach Kelly Krepps was also awarded the 'coach of the day' award for the third time in
three seasons. Overall the team wrestled at or above their seeds and showed that this season's squad can be a tough
individual tournament team.
